Daniel Bowen has been a member of the PTUA since the late-1980s. He joined the committee in 2001, and was President from 2003 to 2012. He commutes daily to the city on the Frankston line, and is a regular commentator on transport issues in the media and on his blog.
Daniel has a background in Information Technology, and a keen interest in seeing public transport improve for the benefit of all Melburnians. He is hopeful that one day he won’t need a car at all anymore to get around, and will no longer have to check timetables to avoid long waits between services. Until then, he tries to make sure he has a good book to read.
